I just picked up a 1998 Epiphone Kirona Flying V. It has been updated with Gibson USA 490 T/R, coil split. What is odd is that there is an Epiphone SN u98041508 but there never seemed to be a logo on the head stock? Does anyone have any info about this guitar and why there would not be a logo on it?

    Any help is appreciated Thanks

Epiphone makes great Flying B's, I tried one and immediately bonded with and the stock pickups were good
I own a 1971 Medallion Series Flying V and the Epiphone V could easily match my Gibson !!!!
