Hello to all the Epiphone experts out there. Hoping somebody with more knowledge than I can help me. I have the opportunity to purchase an older Epiphone Les Paul. I believe it's a 1995 Les Paul made in Fuji-gen Japan. The serial number is F5020986. It's in very good shape with the original hard shell case, On the Head stock it says Epiphone, down the center of the head stock it says "Les Paul model" and it says Gibson on the truss rod cover. it has the plastic tuning pegs like I see on many Gibsons. the guy wants $200 for it. My main questions are what model Epiphone is this? (for example the new epiphones are Studio, standard, standard pro etc) Second question is this a desirable model? and Third is this guitar worth $200?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Update on my recent post 95 Epiphone Les Paul. After further searching it looks like this guitar may have been made at Fine Guitars Plant in Korea

Without pictures and more information, how would we know? If it has a set neck and binding like a standard probably. If it has a bolt on. maybe.

Ditto. The serial number tells you the factory, year, maybe the month, and the sequence. It won't tell you the model or color. So post some pics if you have them.

F could also be from the Fine factory, Korea. We need to see it to verify its provenance.

You have to reduce the image/file size in MS Paint or photoshop or something like that.

You may upload your photos to the gallery and insert them in the thread. Or upload them to a web hosting service and insert the link in a message using the Image icon (sun and mountains) in the toolbar.

Or, you could buy the guitar, send it it me, and I'll verify it. Return shipping might take a while.
