I gutted the Casino Coupe to try a set of Rose pickups (Eden P90s). I thought some might be interested to see what the stock parts look like (links to Imgur pics). The Epiphone P90s have three leads - I don't know why. (Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?) Red is hot and both white and bare are grounds. I measured the impedences on the red and white leads and they are: Bridge-12.0 K, Neck-12.3 K. The pots are MIK. I don't see a stamp showing the value and I haven't measured them. The output jack, unexpectedly, has an Epiphone stamp. I guess this is one way to verify authenticity. So here's my problem. I want shiny, metal dogear covers for the Eden P90s, which came with soapbars. So I bought a set from All Parts and the mounting brackets for the backs. The brackets fit. The covers, however, are dissimilar and have the following dimensions Height (inside/outside): Bridge-9.5/11.2 mm, Neck-3.3/5.0 mm Pole spacing: Bridge-50 mm, Neck-47.5mm Sadly, the Rose Edens both have 50 mm pole spacing and the neck cover does not fit. I haven't yet found a nickel cover with the same neck height, but 50 mm spacing. I suppose I could try to see if the bridge cover is thin enough to fit at the neck position without touching the strings. and buy another if it works. If nothing works, I'll have to put Humpty Dumpty back together again. Then I'll have the problem of a set of custom-made P90s with no home. I might have to buy another guitar.
