    Hey folks
I'm new to the forum and a dedicated Epiphone hollowbody player. I've done a number of shootout videos, special interest videos and what not, and wanted to share this latest with you all which is a back to back comparison between the standard Casino and Riviera Custom p93. Enjoy!

    Jack

Welcome Jack. Thanks for the A/B. I play mostly smooth jazz and Jimmy Reed style blues. I recently bought a Riviera and am really happy with its versatility.

Inverness Green was not available in the US and the two I found in Canada weren't available for shipping to the US (rosewood/CITES). So I visited family in London and brought it back as a souvenir - actually I went for the guitar and visited family while I was there. :)

    Pretty different guitars.

Semi hollow vs. hollow. Neck/body joint.

I’ve owned casinos but Never kept them mostly because that neck joint is so high and weird.

The casino coupe is a fantastic idea. Makes the whole downsized 335/339 thing forgettable. And I like my 339, but a downsized casino with a “regular” neck body joint is just too smart and too cool.

    I Love Them both!
    However,
I was just really stoked to get my hands on a Riviera 12 recently.
No crazy price just a Sweet player.

Oh man I’ve always wanted one of those - I saw the Beach Boys using them back in 04 and they just sound magnificent.
