Seems like a really nice guitar!

    “USA only”, though...

The ad for that model is confusing to me because they can't seem to decide if it's that one they're selling, or this one. I like the one without the orange crap on it way better.

What is it with people on these forums being anti "amber"? It's a easily replaced bit of plastic, not an A-Team van stripe.

I'm not anti-amber at all. In fact I love the look of aged binding and amber switch tip on an LP. The headstock on that one just looks bad to me. Maybe if it was a split diamond custom headstock it wouldn't bother me as much. That one doesn't really look aged, just strange.

I wouldn’t call the binding easy to replace. At a minimum, you’re stripping the finish back and unglueing the old binding

Well, crap. Here I thought you guys were talking about the switch tip.

For some reason there's a lot of anti-amber bias on the other site that I thought was bleeding over.

Truth be told, I only replaced my amber tip with a chrome one after I replaced the plastic pøker ch¡p with a chromed brass and enamel one. I'd deliberately chosen to replace the amber equipped stock switch with a Switchcraft with the same tip as a **** y'all to the haters.

At least I can admit when
