I thought all that lovely weather might have dried it out for you? I suppose even the Moles have to wear wellies there when it’s that wet....grin~

If your tomatoes are ripe next month look for me, I’ll be around nicking them while you are asleep...

I think I'll have to move them as there is some gusty wind & rain forecast for the next few days, That last windy thunderstorm we had wrecked two out three of my plants.

20C and cloudy today, feels real muggy.
Just planted some dwarf banana seeds  I think it may be too late to see any sort of growth this year, I'll see what becomes of them, might bring the pots inside the conservatory.:thumb:

Is your growing season measured in minutes?

LOL I used to have a greenhouse & growing tomatoes, courgettes etc was fine, but growing those outside is hit & miss, usually very few ripe tomatoes on the plants but we always have a lot of green ones at the end of Summer for making chutney.:thumb:

I doubt you have much hope of growing bananas outside my friend. It’s even too cool where I am to grow them. I’d imagine that one sniff of frost will see them done.

Inside may be a better chance.

The King Parrots here take care of our green tomatoes unless we have them covered up!!.

It’s actually cool on New Caledonia’s main Island today... I wonder if the weather is any better on the paradise within a paradise?

It’s good of Gibson to provide holiday facilities for it’s members.

    Where’s my passport?

LOL Yeah bananas in Lancs is a big ask, I'll put the plant pot up near the top of the roof in the conservatory where it's warmest and see what happens.

Back to normal weather again today with 17C grey clouds, high winds & horizontal rain.

Ugh...87°, muggy and I had to attend an outdoor work meeting on a day off....

While SWMBO is out of the house for a few hours I'm going to take a shower and make use of the blackout curtains so I can have a quick nap.

Blimey!!! how do you survive in that kinda heat? I'd wither & die. Back to normal here with a high of 17C & wall to wall grey skies.

I don't know if they're suitable for growing in the northern hemisphere:frown: I just thought they looked kinda cute :thumb: and for the princely sum of just over a Quid I thought give it a shot.

I'm with you on that one. As it stands, I'm more of a night owl in terms of my habits so at least the sun doesn't play too much into things for me.

    Le cropped screenshot....

Might get the wood fire going and leave it on all day today.

18C at Nouméa (Tontouta) Airport... I’m heading back to Sydney today, but Mrs Eggs is staying on for another week to compete in the Groupama Around New Caledonia Yacht Race... Cest la vie, but at least I should receive my new geet sometime while she is away ;)

Life sure is tough at the top!

Son Egglette has delayed our ritual pizza consumption until tonight & has promised to have the dough ready for my return home this afternoon.
