we had a rainy day at less than 10°C
Blimey! what a change in the weather, Wall to wall sunshine & blue skies with a high of 16C here.
I wish we were on our way back to England, but can’t afford it this year unfortunately.
We are expecting a lovely day of between 5C and 19C here today and I enjoyed sitting in the sun yesterday so I might find time to sit out there and read a book for a bit today. Nice cup of tea, my Kindle and some Blues playing....sounds alright to me.
Wall to wall sunshine & blue skies with a high of 18C today.
Ouch! I was gardening yesterday afternoon with my t shirt off for a short while & I've caught the sun, I look like a boiled lobster today
I'M keeping out of the direct sun today, typical! one hot day & I get sunburnt
Better be careful mate, the ozone layer is depleted at both poles and a bad sunburn at high and low latitudes can cause problems in later life.....oh wait on~
Gorgeous week of weather here with warm sunny days.
20C today and much the same all week.
It's wall to wall sunshine & blue skies here again with a high of 20C, the TV weather news are calling it heatwave conditions and Lancashire with be as warm as Greece for the next few days
A fabulous Spring day in the Ole Souf. Low 70’s, no humidity, no pollen, for now anyway, and if I didn’t have to put on the Poppa hat and fetch a grandwean to the dentist, I might even enjoy mowing the lawn. Might.
RAIN,RAIN,RAIN and MORE RAIN! Did I mention it was raining again?
Stop teasing me!
Whats rain anyway?
A high of 20C and another day of sunshine & blue skies.
Looks like Summers arrived.
We hit 29C in the greenhouse yesterday Lancashire will spontaneously combust if this carries on.
Back online to order some swimmers and sunnies before the rush I reckon!
Nice autumn weather here with fine sunny days though clear cold nights, so no sitting out unfortunately.
Top today expected to be 18 or 19C.
Still no bloody rain! C’mon Huey give us a break!
Another scorcher of a day here with a high of 20C, wall to wall sunshine & blue skies.
I wish we were coming back there this year, need to save some more though.
Maybe next year if we are capable?
Glorious cool so far, bright morning in paradise, top expected of 18C.
Monday started out beautiful and I caught a few Crappie , then today we decided to leave the reservoir because of heavy rain and supposed to stay this way for a few days....
That's a nice picture John, looks very inviting to cast a line there, I got all my fishing tackle stolen quite a few years ago, My heart wasn't into fishing after that for some reason
The weather has changed like they forecast here, It's a grey damp day here after rain overnight, the temps are down a bit too, A high of 17C today which is just right for me
I still cant brush my hair properly after getting sunburnt last week my scalp is still tender .
How did that song go! #Mad dogs and English men go out in the midday sun# I think it was 20C when I was out in the garden, I think Pom skin would fry in north American or Australian Summer temps.
That's terrible, I hope someday you get back into it. I did all of my fishing with my kayak and snaking my way around the trees and catching a few Crappie was simply heaven....
Fishing of any kind does it for me but kayak fishing was extra special as you fit in with nature.
If I could I’d give Ian a couple of rods & reels as I’ve got about 40 of them! I’ve seen some great fish caught on cheap kids combos, even pink ones!
Ask Stuart when he comes back! You don’t need to spend a lot of money.
18C and fine again.
I use inexpensive Shakespeare Ugly Stik Combo's. Yes kayak fishing is seriously relaxing. I have owned several fishing boats and ski boats for that matter and I'll take my kayak anytime. I have one now and I am going to buy another one next week.
I had to drop kayaking when I started to get bad vertigo a few years back, then I moved back to a boat.
If I get giddy in the boat I can drop the pick, pop a pill and ride it out.
What are you going to buy, and what’s better about it than what you’ve got John?
