Yeah....definitely not Florida.
I thought WTF! with that weather Raiyn but had forgot you're back up north.
Still wild & windy here with lots of flooding & storm damage across the whole country
It's been another wild night and wild day again albeit not as much rain, I've just seen the roofing guys pull up in front of next doors house, they must have some storm damage.
Yeah, I have a bunch of snow sculpture pics to upload later. I'd have preferred to wade into this rather than belly flop into the deep end. Acclimating is easier when it's a gradual process.
Warming here again!
28C expected today. Drizzled all day yesterday.
the storm 'delivered'
60° at 6 am and that’s as warm as it got. Slowly dropping temps with rain off and on for the next few days.
LOL I bet you cant wait to get back to the Florida warmth. It's a 'orrible day here, We're still getting the after effects of that storm Ciara, Very windy again with sleet showers and a high of 4C today.
It was difficult to get out of my warm bed this morning.
My mate over in Queensland was telling me yesterday that they're having too much rain which is causing major flooding.
He said some areas are getting more rain in a day than they’ve had total in years. And now there’s a cyclone heading for the East coast just to top it off.
It seems to have gone from one extreme to another.
Not as much as you'd expect. I've been trying to find an excuse to move back, not all the way mind you, but back to the state. I find the heat and hurricanes bothersome to say the least.
That’s usually the case when we come out of a protracted drought, which I believe we are doing ATM.
It’s unusual to see bright green grass everywhere in February.
I have my Mac back so I might put a few pics up of what’s been happening here when I get time.
The winds have finally died down here thank heavens but the MET office say we're in for storm 'Dennis' over the weekend
'Orrible day here, 5C with sleet / hailstone showers.
Cold and rainy all day, the usual Memphis winter.
The high today was +22°F /-5.5°C the low... is slated to be -22°F /-28.9°C. Did I mention the wind chill? Yeah, there's a 10-14mph wind out of the north.
25C expected here and possibility of a small amount of rain...1 to 5mm.
LOL Do Florida cars have sump heaters to keep the oil warm? Brutal temps Raiyn.
Rain & hail showers today with a high of 7C.
Expecting 28C here today and more drizzle.
if it’s raining then I will be going in to help with grocery shopping (sigh~) if not wet then I get to play with my tractor!!
LOL you would be forever grocery shopping here in Lancashire & the tractor garaged up almost permanently
It's a cold morning here 2C and frosty rising to 9C later in the day.
It's the lull before another storm 'Dennis' arrives tonight & over the weekend, storm force winds & heavy rain forecast......deep joy.
Florida cars? Not generally. Minnesota cars? It's quite common to have a block heater. The rental Toyota doesn't have one however.
23C expected here today.
It's the lull before the storm here, Storm Dennis is due in my neck o the woods after lunch time, It's mild with a high of 11C and heavy rain, the winds are just starting to pick up so it's batten down the hatches time again.
