I thought Epi LP customs weren't made with 'bursts? So after a bit of head scratching, and a trawl through the Epi Wiki (Thanks Internet archive!) I think this is a Custom Plus...

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302375024125

It's had a bridge change, but not a bad one by the look of it, and an aftermarket pickguard - which again doesn't look too bad (if you like inlays)

Thought I'd throw it up here in case anyone was interested, he's asking £300, but open to offers....

(don't know the seller, but did think it was a nice guitar :))

Here's a pic from the wiki...

I believe the guitar in question is a Heritage Cherry Sunburst LP Custom Plus in case you were wondering...

On that guitar, the pickguard is a little busy for me.

I always find it funny that sellers won't find the 2 seconds it takes to rotate their images. Am I the only one who thinks this looks better than upside down ?

And what about showing it in better light ?

Sometimes they're shot at an angle that makes the lighting bad?

I've got a stand for such things.

No DrB, my OCD was twitching a bit to be honest always better the right way up - unless it's an 'Arty' shot - but not when you're selling it...

Not my cup of tea either Raiyn, but easily replaceable I guess?

Looking closer, is it just me, or does the flame top look like it's one piece? I can't see a join....

    PhotoFlame maybe? :hmm:

    What a shame!

But great spot Paruwi! :thumb: Certainly made me look again, don't know about anyone else, but if I'm thinking of buying something from the 'Bay, I'll be posting the link here for Peter and all you other Eagle eyed forumers to give it the once over :applause:

I wonder if the evil mime got his mitts on one of these and convinced himself that it was how real Epi's were done?

    Then again, I don't care.

It could be the angle of the photo, but if you compare the knobs to the ones on the Wiki photo, they look askew.
