I finally did it! I'm moving nearly three hours from home and as a result, I had to sell my car to cover expenses. Since I did that, I figured I needed something to keep my mind off of selling my baby, and ordered a 1960 Infinium and a matching 4x12 Bugera cab to match!

Now for the wait! I can't wait to hear some Les Paul goodness coming from it :fingersx:

i've been eyeballing those. a few of them on c'list locally.

i did just buy a t5 infinium, and it's an awesome little unit.
i'm sure the 1960 is super sweet.

Yeah the Bugera Amps really do sound great for the $$$$
I use a V-55 as one of my main stage amps, it screams really good the only bad thing is she's quite heavy, but I am a workout person so it's not too bad. I did take it apart and cut some holes in the side and install some handles like a 4x12 cab has which makes her much easier to tote around :)

Ugh, the cab is back ordered. Looks like the head should be here before the end of the week though!

Too bad about the wait, but I know it will be worth the wait!

If that's the Plexi style one with the 4 inputs, I have been wanting to try one for a while. The question is, where are you going to need 150 watts?? :wow:

I have the first gen. 1960. Which is a pure Plexi clone that I have modded with a cross-line PPIMV, a switchable Plexi/One wire RR cascade mod, and a Classic Tone OT. Total cost for the parts was around $65.00.

The cross-line PPIMV is not the same as a Lar/Mar type.

Had this amp going on a year now with a lot of playing time.

It's here! And way bigger than I was expecting. I did pull it out of the plastic, but it went right back in since the cab won't be here until after I move more than likely :frown:

Still waiting on a cab, but not as long as I would've been. Sam Ash had them back ordered for July 15th, so I went and found one used at Guitar Center. Should be a few more days and I can finally try the Bugera out! :fingersx:

The used cab I ordered had a faulty jack, and it was a PCB style and I couldn't find a part online to replace it. I took it to a local GC to replace it, and walked out with a B 52 cab, a new soft case for the guitars other than the Les Paul, and pickgaurds for the Tele and the bullet Strat I bought the other day!

Finally able to test it out, first thoughts is THIS AMP IS LOUD!! As in I can't use it in the house or in my neighborhood, even with the master volume as low as it goes. I managed to find a way to quiet it down to a reasonable level, using my Guv'nor Plus for drive tones. I'll be taking it out to my grandparents house by a local airport tonight, and I'll give it a good run down!

LOL, I told you it would be loud. Isn't there some kind of attenuator built in on that one? If not you could always get a used one like a Marshall Power Brake or THD Hot Plate and get the cranked up sounds without shattering windows.

Then again, some windows need to be shattered every now and then

Haha yeah, there is a PPMV (if I'm remembering right) and even with it as low as it goes, it's way too loud. If I lived on the edge of town like I used to, it'd be no problem, although still deafening indoors
