    Fair enough.

You're right of course, I just chafe at the idea of being led. I'm the same way in museums. I prefer to go at my own pace and occasionally listen to the passing docents as they run their laps with the sheep.

That reminds me to get a leg of lamb out of the freezer for a wood oven cook-up tomorrow!

I’m having trouble sleeping, too much on my mind ATM and very excited!

I can only imagine too as our only experience of cruise ships was a little while ago experimenting with a 2 nighter from Melbourne to Sydney. We treated ourselves to a “Mini Suite” that time and the motivation for this trip initially that there is 40% off mini suites. They are sheer luxury and have their own balcony, couple of TV’s, full bathroom with bath, walk-in robe etc.

When you get to our age you don’t want to be roughing it!

Cruise booked yesterday and now considering flight options. Has anyone had any experience with Singapore Airlines?

Booked later than we intended for 24th July this year as it was a little cheaper missing the peak.

Hope the weather isn’t too bad in the UK in July?

This...from the guy that started the "How's Your Weather Today?" thread?

The same thread where a good part of the time it's @Lancpudn and myself responding??

If anything, you should bloody well know how the weather is in Lancashire and Florida.

    :p

OK fair call but some inside information would be nice too....Grin~

I started these threads for that very same reason, because I’m interested in your lives and weather is a big part of that. I’m also hoping that somebody will assure me that July in the UK is characterised by glassy seas~

I would strongly recommend against rattlin' any roos opals, unless of course you are partial to spontaneous laughing gear realignment therapy

I have no intentions of doing a closeup visual inspection of kangaroo landing gear.

Phew, I’m relieved to hear that!

If you see those little coin pouches made out of Kangaroo tackle at our airport shops, you’d understand why we get a little protective of our lower regions~
