1.jpg 2.jpg Hello and good day. I have a chance to buy a really nice looking Epiphone ES-175, made in Korea. The Serial number is 311690750. This guitar comes with a very nice case. Total price is 400 dollars. I didn't even know these guitars were made in Korea. Question: Is this a good price. There are no cracks at the neck, machines seem solid. Good action. I really can't see anything wrong with it. I just don't know if the price is good or if it's high. Any guidance will be appreciated.

it is one of the newer ES-175 Premium Models ?

I have a refurbished guitar that was in perfect working order when I bought it. The only thing I could see that would make it fail the factory QC is that a tone knob and a volume knob were switched. So, if everything is fine, then 50% off an ES-175 is a really good deal.

Thank you for the information. I'm guessing it is not worth 400 dollars since there are so many unknowns. Again. Thanks.

Yeah. If it's a distant seller without a good return policy, then it's a big risk. If the return policy is good, then the risk is low. If it's local and the OP has a chance to check it out, the risk is zero. Of course, if @LJ intends to flip it eventually, buyers may have the same questions.

I generally buy a guitar to keep it, so I would take the risk if I'm specifically looking for an ES-175
