I have a problem. I live in a flat (apartment) and my neighbours apparently don’t want to listen to my rendition of Creeping Death!

I hate wires and so headphones consequently drive me nuts. I have an idea to get an in ear monitoring system so that I’m wire free and noise free BUT they ain’t cheap) I have recently tried this on the cheap by buying a blue tooth sender and plugging it in to the amp (combo) and using Bluetooth headphones BUT the latency was unreal (probably half a second).

Do in ear monitors suffer from any latency? I can’t get a good/consistent answer from on line research.

Any help and recommendations much appreciated. Money is tight so I would be looking for a cheap’ish option (like £200 or $300’ish).

Alternative ideas also taken with interest!

    Thanks

Have you considered headphone amplifiers like the Vox amPlug series? It'd only be the headphone wires at that point.
