    Good evening all.

After many years of being a Fender fan, and owning lots of telecasters, I got the itch for a hollow body. I've never really been in the world of Gibson/Epiphone other than owning a Dot for a few months and then giving it to a kid who fell in love with it.

I started my search two weeks ago to find one that suited me. I found this beauty hanging on the shelf in my local Guitar Center and instantly fell in love. I traded an Alvarez acoustic for it and she came home with me along with the OHSC. Not really knowing anything about Epiphones, I allowed GC to sell it to me as a 1985 model. Boy was I excited. After getting home and searching the internet for hours I discovered there's no way this thing is an '85 and it was definitely a '95. Big difference in 10 years guitar age. I went back down to GC and explained my findings and ended up getting cash back for their error.

Even though it's 10 years newer than what I thought, this thing is in absolutely amazing condition and plays/sounds like a dream. It being Korean built was also a big reason as to why I kept it and didn't return it after my let down.

Anyway, below are some pics of her. And just so I can settle it in my mind can anyone confirm 100% that this is a 1995 model?

Thanks all and thank you for having me!

Niiiice ! Great intro post ! Welcome to the zoo, I think you'll fit in just right.

That is an interesting bridge there, I haven't seen one like it before. The two side binding stripes on the fretboard are beautiful. You got a gem !

Thank you fellas! Amazing how someone who has no knowledge of epiphones can decode the serial number but a national store that sells guitars cant. Regardless, super happy with her and how well she plays. Plus the quality is fantastic.

    Thank you much sir!

Thanks! I knew I had to snatch this thing up before some parent came in and bought a "used guitar" off the shelf for their kid to learn on and didn't know what they had in their hands. This thing is definitely unique and a unicorn among the mid 90's sherry's that I've been finding.
