I've had the V itch for quite a while. I definitely wanted an Epi. I had looked at the Brent Hinds model and it's a great guitar but I already have a silver burst SG. I looked at the Faulkner model too but not really my style. I had almost pulled the trigger on the Epi non sig korina V but kept telling myself to hold off, I'm glad I did. I don't normally go for signature models but this particular V checked all the boxes for me. I got it for considerably lower than MSRP due to a very small nick in the case, the guitar itself is flawless. Its very light weight and the stock pups sound great to me. I will be replacing the strings tonight, also conditioning the fretboard and taking a look under the pups. Anyway on to the pics.

Ninja Edit:I am not fond of the white jack plate but so far not having any luck finding a black 3 ply to match the pick guard, not without buying a complete pick guard set anyway. If anyone knows a place I would very much appreciate it. I am gonna de-bonamassafy it a bit.

Creamtone is not cheap but they make some parts specifically for the Epi Amos to make it look more like a regular '58.

The fit and finish on this thing is absolutely top notch. It feels and plays even better than I thought it would. I was particularly worried since unlike previous Epi signatures they decided not to include the gibson pups but man these things really growl. They sound great through the few tube amps I've tried this evening. The neck profile is a bit more C shaped and fatter than the traditional slim taper D that seems to be so common on Epi these days and it has tons of sustain.

I didn't pay near that but it was a "blemished". The case is what was blemished so I didn't care,

Cool, on the pic the bridge looks like it has the Gibson small post. Is that what it is or am I just not seeing it well?
