    I have sinned too...

I have been wishful to own a US guitar one day. But, they were out of my financial range. Then, I found out about the S2 Standard line wherein used ones are somewhat doable for me. Electronics and some hardware are from Korea, but the rest were built in the US alongside the higher priced PRS ones. I thought this was good enough for me! I was weary initially because I wasn't so convinced with the PRS Singlecut SE that I briefly owned.

And so, here she is! $600 shipped with a good setup and new strings! From the good people at rEvolve Guitar & Music Shop in Bartlett, Tennessee, a PRS authorized shop, especially to Geoff, the shop owner...

She is indeed beautiful and sexy in person!

Push-pull tone pot for splitting the humbuckers but I don't have any need. I love the knobs!

The low mass locking tuners are great!

There's an area on the lower left with whitish streaks and spots. I see that it is where the forearm rests which probably is the reason. Any advice how to clean it?

Played it for a bit and I have to say that it exceeds my expectations. Tremolo is awesome even after whammy abuse. After strapping it on, I now understand why they say a PRS is comfortable to play. I was thinking of replacing the pickups to US ones someday to make it more American, but I don't see the need.

As I don't know how to describe sound in words, I will be making a video demo soon.

    Good looking guitar. Congrats.

Try some Meguiar's swirl remover on the streaky area.

If it was mine, I would aim to do a pickguard out of timber, maybe with a matching set of tuner buttons.

That's a cutie ! I find PRS to be very easy to wear. They really did their homework in ergonomics.

As for the cleaning up, I'd start with the obvious, mildest an cheapest: lukewarm water and a soft toothbrush. If that doesn't work, add hand or dish soap.

If I may ask ... I am always curious as to why a USA made body is better for you ?

Thanks for the praises and tips everyone!

I'm not sure if I could use chemicals or swirl removers as it has a satin finish and it's really thin as in you can see and feel the wood grain.

Just the experience and put a check on my bucket list. I've always only been able to buy cheap economy guitars. The most expensive I had with a good build out of the box was my Squier Classic Vibe tele.

Forgot to also mention... I came from an Asian 3rd world country. Having a US guitar is a big thing for me as I could have never afforded one back home. It actually makes me proud.

    Awesome score! Congrats

PRS are my favorites, and the S2 are a fantastic value. I really like my S2 Studio, and have a Mira ordered.

The US one-piece bodies have terrific resonance, enjoy that bad boy!
