Thank you Otto.
Niiice &, courtesy of recently letting a long trapped ‘90s MIK €pis only’ genie accidentally out of the bottle, could definitely solve a serious case of Firebird GAS in my future.
If it were mine, it'd have the roller bridge and locking tuners. No wraps means better stability for your wangulation needs.
Sound advice Raiyn. For what it's worth the guitar is surprisingly stable even using the trem in a sane manner (it's no floyd rose) despite all the negative BS I read about these vibratos. I always wanted a bird with banjo's since forever, but it adds weight to the head stock and unless you have a set already can be pricey. Still mulling it over.

looks like a ripper! how do the mini-hums sound?
The guitar has a warm tone which is not a bad thing. It's a blues monster. Haven't stopped playing it since I got it to be honest. That's a nice thing about a new piece of gear sometimes it inspires you to buckle down on your playing
nice! good to hear that I'm not the only one who has that guitar on their bucket list.
Congratulations on getting one in such great condition!
When I first started playing the guitar, that kind of Epi Firebird VII was in production and available at the stores. I thought of getting it a bit later, as my 2nd guitar. Little did I know, that they would discontinue it and never make it again. For how many years now? 13 years or more, I think.
Now what would be really amazing if Joe Bonamassa had a Firebird VII (as opposed to his Firebird I) and had that released as a Joe Bonamassa Limited Edition.
I have one of his limited Amos Vs and the quality is just superb. And then imagine a Firebird VII with that quality standard.
Thanks Georg. I have an Amos V as well, great guitar. A bonamassa VII would be cool to see as well.
What do we have here?
Finally got around to getting the banjo tuners for this girl. Very satisfying switch.
Wow. That's a stunner for sure. Congratulations!
Wow, didn't think it was possible. Last time I saw this the corners were hanging a bit off the edge. Lookin' might fine!
Yeah definitely had to mess with the layout beforehand but I'm pleased with the result. They were a tight fit!
