I splurged and purchased this Epiphone Les Paul Standard. Can't figure out what the burst color is, but I sure do like it. Plays very nicely and came already set up. Now back to work on Monday. Yep, finally found a job.

Nice one ! Tea burst ?

If ... I say if ... it was mine, pickguard and switch ring would go spend some time in the parts bin. I hate to hide such a nice top.

Honey burst, desert burst, iced tea burst. They all look the same to me.

I'm with @BGood on getting rid of the pickguard. But I would keep the switch ring and add cream knobs to balance the colors.

Look at that, you haven't received the first paycheck yet at the new job, and already I'm spending it for ya'.

Congrats on both new things in your life.

On that beautiful guitar, I'd leave it alone and just play it. Cream trim pieces that match are a real rabbit hole. Enjoy.
