Hey Epi lovers, if you have some experience with the Stage Right 15 watt tube amp, can you pass on your experience and opinion? I've got a Line 6 Valve MKII 212 but it blows me out of my room. I need something small but am strapped for cash. We'll not really strapped for cash but I need to keep my wifey happy as she deals with my GAS. It will soon be getting to the point of one in and one out.
    Cheers!
    Tim

Everything I've seen on them is encouraging. They also seem to respond well to tube upgrades.

Those amps aren't available over here - though I guess they're somehow compareable to the Blackhearts (I've had a few of them)
15 tube watts can be frigging loud for homeuse, so it's good they have gain and a master volume.
I think at this pricepoint you can't do much wrong.

12" Celestian 70/80 speaker, EL84 power tubes, reverb, FX send and return, ext speaker and foot switch jacks. All for around $220? What's not to like? Supposed to be a Laney Cub 12 clone, at a fraction of the price, but I don't know how you cut corners, to do that. Great tube rolling platform.

That's the video that got me started gassing for this thing. Waiting for it to go on sale for the wifey. Twenty, thirty, even fifty bucks spread over the life of the amp is not worth fretting over. So maybe I'll pull the trigger... :hmm:

In case anyone is interested, this amp is available again from Monoprice for $249. There was a link on Amazon for this amp from Monoprice for $20 less at $229. It may look like none available but if you scroll down a bit, you'll see the link for $229.

anyone have a gutshot of these amps? I can't build that much amp for 220 or 250 bucks. I suppose it's only possible if you buy a zillion parts at once.. holds down costs.. and then the materials.. wood any good? tolex glue cheap? stuff like that. but.. really more about things like the components, the board assembly and transformers. Hate to say it but a lot of amps are overpriced to start with.

Dont' know if this helps but it is supposedly a re-packaged Laney Cub 12 as Laney was stenciled on the circuit board on the Gen 1s.
Here's a link with some more pictures but may not be what you're looking for.
