I’ve mentioned before how many times we see absolute heartbreak when we set up at the St. Jude market. Today, there were far more obvious patient kids that were middle school age, so today, any patient was given whatever they were attracted to. Many little bald children left our booth with a smile and a ring, bracelet, necklace, or something Harry Potter related. I’m still tuning up thinking about them.

Good for you. making them smile.

Pediatric cancer patients were my inspiration when I went through chemo and radiation. If those kids could endure it, I figured, I had nothing to complain about.
