He's a smug little booger isn't he?! I can't say too much, I have a little fan on the coffee table I use when I'm watching T.V. on the couch during the warmer months, but I've been known to leave it on for the cats if one has staked a claim to the ottoman.
Do you now? What was her name? :p

Sorry, that was opening the QE2 and the Spruce Goose could have passed through side by side.

    Nope, too easy.
I've picked on you enough for today.
In July? Wrong hemisphere mate, unless you seriously overshoot England and end up on a mountain somewhere.....

I've never seen as many blokes walking about in shorts here:shock: and lots of young ladies in skimpy attire :wow:It's very hard not to look & gawk when you're used to seeing them walking about buttoned up to the neck with coats :D

I've been sitting in the shade of the shed out of the tarmac melting rays of the sun :D watering the garden and it's nice to see the bee's are back in large numbers if my flowers are anything to go by. the last few years their numbers have been down a heck of a lot.

    Sadly true!

Hang on! We’re coming to see those amazing greens!

I want a refund! False advertising!

    10 days to go.

LOL I had to laugh! I was putting up a birdfeeder & Suetlog for the birds supposedly out of sight of the cats, when I was getting down from the ladder I caught sight of all three of them watching me intently from the bedroom window. :D

That's why ours are "indoor only". They can look outside all they want. They want nothing to do with actually going "outside" beyond the breezeway however - including the stray / former ferals.

Oh, crap...didn't realize you were going that way around. Awkward.....
They get food, water, attention, and climate control. What more can one ask for?

It's a bit odd! I told my little girl that they were re-naming Wells Cathedral Green to Wells Cathedral Brown. I'm not sure which was most withering, the sun or her look. She's getting too old to fool :). But yes, I've never seen it like this before. Banks of nettles in the hedgerows are yellowed and dying, Glastonbury Tor is brown, golf courses and fields too.

Not quite as bad up Lancashire way but the emerald green fields are light green here....if that makes sense! :D

I snowfoamed the Rover 75 this morning and you can see the grass is still green in the background.

Our older cat doesn't go out much & never seems to bother with the birds, dragon flies/flies or any insects are a different matter. :D

The two young cats we have will be house cats only.

We used to put out mixed grains to attract the birds.

Attracted the Cockies who ate our cedar window frames instead....wrong!

Are you sure you had enough sausages there my friend?

I’d hate to think of you going hungry.

Speaking of hungry, I took Bella to the vet yesterday as her inoculations were due. She’s madly overweight and yet we don’t feed her an unusual amount so I asked for advice bout getting her weight down.

"Halve what you are feeding her and make up the difference with cooked carrot" I was told, so we did just that. To say our dog is well motivated for a feed is a gross understatement so I’m wondering how she’s going to be today?

I guess it might help keep the rabbits on the property down...Grin~

All this heavy rain has battered my flowers down and no bees on them this morning.

This time next week we will be heading for a taste of summer...someone else’s that is!

This time next week we will be on a train heading for Melbourne and onto Tullamarine International airport to connect with our first flight on Singapore airlines at 3.30 pm. The first leg is to Singapore where we should be later that night. 2 nights there and it’s off to England

Anyone have any Singapore experiences to relate?
