Picked up another guitar. This time it’s the Gibson Les Paul Less +. The nut was changed to bone, the only mod. Although I might pull the coil tap switch and put the 4th pot into it. By “I” I mean pay someone who knows what they’re doing to do it.
These are going on sale for $699 CAD in a few days. Not overly fond of Double Cuts but was wondering if the general consensus was? Am I in the minority or do more people share my opinion?
Regardless I still might pick one up.
I like all Epiphones. Haven’t owned one that disappoints. Given the choice I’d choose the newer ones due to the headstock but that wouldn’t drive my decision against buying a used one. The newer models with the Gibson pickups are nice. But to be honest, the Probuckers are great too. Again, I...
Yeah I saw yours (amazing!) and had some expectations set. Debating on returning it but there’s no more available. So I’d have to get something else.
On another note I’m going to polish my ‘59. Already started!
Is it just me or is this “AAAA” grade flame top underwhelming. I mean part of the draw to the Lazarus is the infamous flame top. It was touted as being amazing.
Mine is a bit of a lunch bag let down.
I’ve included a picture of the ‘59 Royal tea burst for comparison which is a “AAA” top.
About 8 years ago, yes. Have it up for trade for a Les Paul type of guitar as I basically forgot about it.
Also have one other Fender. I guess I was into Fenders back then. It’s a 1983 Fender Stratocaster Elite. Funky push button selector switching system and take a 9v battery lol
It’s not new...
A new guitar to add to the collection. A 2019 Gibson Les Paul Standard Blueberry Burst.
Not a fan of the push/pull pots but you can disable all those features with the dip switches. Wasn’t a deal breaker!
