We're all exhausted and broke so it was air fryer french fries with some sort of salt and vinegar seasoning and then we made a new cocktail that we named a Phil Collins, which is exactly the same as a Tom Collins but with vodka instead of gin.

Edit: I hate Phil Collins

Nothing fancy: Pork chops "grilled" with our multi functional Cuisnart "Food-o-Matic" (it has a proper model / name, but does it matter?) thing that does everything from grilling meat to making waffles and pressing sandwiches*.
Instant Mashed potatoes doctored with herbs and butter.
Frozen corn - bless you Clarence Birdseye.

*Cuban Sandwiches are a particular favorite of mine. A highlight of living in the Tampa Bay area - one takes their wins where they can.

We had pot roasted topside last night cooked in some wine and loads of bacon and onion. Roast potatoes crunchy and to die for, plus peas and carrots. (We are getting gorgeous local corn on the cob ATM.)

The meat just melted in our mouths and did I mention the potatoes...yes I did but they are so good they deserve mentioning twice. Over that went one of Gael’s special gravies....that woman can sure cook!

Happy Anniversary Rob. 42 years is a blessing. I couldn't even get 2 marriages combined to last 42 years.

Nothing very gourmet goin' on around here. Pizza, pasta, and some spiral honeybaked ham with mashed potatoes is about it lately.
