I have a reissue Epiphone Casino VS that has the chrome metal pickup covers. Due to the high telephonics I am getting, I am searching for the black dog-eared, p90 pup covers made of plastic. Does anyone know where to get these? Epiphone corporate says to call a dealer. The dealer says call Ephiphone. Dealers like Stew Mac have them but not the correct sizes.

using double sided tape or a couple of drops of wax to stick your pickup covers to the pickup should solve that problem.

None on ebay, only the whole pup, plus no description of specs. The epiphone reissues are different sizes than Gibson or vintage epiphone. Thanks anyway.

What is the lenght measured center to center on the pole pieces ? On my Special 1 I have 52mm on neck, 50mm on bridge.

I found some at All Parts. They have a nice diagram of the measurements and they will fit mine. Thanks for the reply.

Hey folks, was just looking over some of the forums and found this one interesting. However it got me thinking, dangerous! I just bought a new Casino from GC. It plays and sounds great but something just seems odd in the way it is set up. The pickup height on both of the P90’s is about 5/16”. The bridge is, of course, set pretty much to the max. String action is good and the neck is fine. Is this PU height normal for the Casino’s?I’m not an experienced player but a couple other electrics I own have much less height. Anyway, just searching out some wisdom and experience.

I don't believe in that gadget. Nothing but your ears can get the right height. Every pickup is different, so how can you have an universal tool ?

For $20 plus shipped Stew-Mac can go straight to hell.

With a caliper and some cheap hex wrenches you can create your own set of gauges.
