    He mentioned shimming the bridge pickup in passing. I would like to emphasize this point. I bought a P90 shim from Lollar's website. This is the first thing I did. It really helped creating a better balance between the two pickups. I'm not sure if all Casinos are like this but mine must be wired 50s style so that there is little treble loss when you turn down the volumes. I have found great combinations with varying the bridge and neck volumes with the selector in the middle position. There are sweet spots on the volume sweep that make the Casino super versatile and useable. No eq pedal required.
