Random thought - but how many people here remove the labels on the back of the guitar (i.e. among others, the "Made in XXXXX", "Handcrafted in China", "QC", "Not household trash" and "100% Inspected and Setup in the USA" labels).

Me.....but then I used to pull the legs off spiders too when I was a kid so I'm sure that somehow I'm not right in the head. ;)

I do...except the Epiphone Custom Shop sticker...'cause that adds like 50% more value to the guitar.

I can't understand why you would want them to stay there. Maybe if you keep your sales stub on your T-shirt

Hahah. Wasn't there a fad back a few years where people actually did that?

I usually remove mine, but while looking at various posts online, I noticed a lot of people had the stickers on still - definitely the "Made in [Country of Origin]" ones, and then a lot of the round QC stickers too lol.

I do, and I also remove the badges from most of my vehicles. I don't need to read what the vehicle is called every time I see it.

I also remove toggle switch washer and pickguard from my LPs and put them in the recycling bin where they belong.

I saw you do that and ever since I look at my washer and think how silly is that to put words on. You only need to play it once to realize up is neck and down is bridge. Its up there with how my truck has an arrow by the fuel gauge to tell me which side my gas filter is on.

The pick guard looks... oddly setup. Its the angle and the metal bracket that make it look strange to me. I don't think I'll take it off because I've grown the habit of placing my pinky there as an anchor. Maybe I should just try without it and see.

I remove them after they have had time to soften up under heat and humidity. Usually a week or so after they arrive. they come off easier and cleanly.

I bought my Casino used and the stickers were already gone. So was the pickguard. I would have removed it anyway.

I can respect that. Conversely, I went out of my way to replace the broken letter "K" on our Outback. The paint was a bit faded around it so it would have looked worse shaving the whole thing.
I mainly object to the plain plastic

Fixed that for ya. That little arrow has saved my butt some embarrassment driving rental cars so many times over the years. Sure, once you know - you know, but when it's not a car you've had for a while?
Or you could be this person...

When I buy new, the stickers come off.

Ahh thanks, the auto correct strikes again.

Actually my truck and my wifes car are Japanese, so filler is on the driver side. My hatchback is German so filler is on the passenger side. I never get confused with my truck but with the hatchback it happens occasionally. Luckily I can pull the hose around the back as if I planned it.

On the little coin for the selector, would be funny if it said something like "rhythm" on one side and "guitar face" on the other. :D

Wow! That selector replacement looks fantastic!

Huh.. so a certain casino game item reference is banned. Just got so used to calling it that from watching Troggly's

Someone makes that, or easily can.
I got it from Japan, same with the TRC.

I don't care for that channel. The guy comes off like a smug know-it-all prick.

I also grind the instructions off of Strat knobs.

Bloo, the Subaru, has the filler door on the passenger side so that's no guarantee either.
The arrow "should" keep you from being Karen at the Costco fuel island stretching the hose over the top of your car and standing in the pass thru lane like we encountered yesterday. "Gee, I wonder why people line up for certain pumps." At least she pulled through to the far side to let someone use the near side pump?
