    My takeaway from this is a fence post sounds pretty similar to maple, and mahogany has a tighter, more closed sound. Who knew pressure treated wood could sound like that?

    Fact: different materials sound different

    Fact: you can make a guitar out of just about anything.

    There’s nothing “better or worse” just different materials and different characteristics.
