I didn't know they was gonna do that and all I can say is "give to us,it's our birthday and we wants it." . If it's produced in the same factory where they make the other Masterbilts.I just might buy one.... oh who am I kidding I'm gonna get one asap. But the short answer is no I don't know when they are coming out but hope it's before Christmas :)

Not sure on your topic? Masterbilt Acoustic or inspired by Gibson Les Paul?

Ok Iv'e seen that video but have not tried those guitars so you had me going there for a while . A few years ago ( closer to ten or more) Epiphone had some Les Pauls and Casino's made in Japan, they had special made in America pickups and from everything I've read (* never owned one myself) were stellar instruments especially the Casino's. I believe they called them Elites and then Elitist models.

Yep - I missed them when they were out, so I had to get me some FGNs....

    Basicly improved Elitists

Even at that the still have Gibson pickups and pots (I think) plus higher spec finish. I for one will be getting one! The stock pick ups let Epiphones down.

There is no Masterbilt Les Paul. Masterbilts are Epi's high end acoustics. You must be talking about this LP:

    https://www.sweetwater.com/store/de...s-paul-standard-outfit-aged-dark-cherry-burst

$200 more than the Standard 50's LP and you get a hard case, Gibson Burstbuckers, better electronics and I guess a different finish type.

Seems like a good deal to me. Kinda like the Inspired by 1955 Les Paul Custom was a few years ago.

Yeah, you are right I just saw the first installment of that video of course ( of the inspired by Gibson series guitars) if you had said the 59 reissue I've seen the epiphone video about them they look interesting but i would definitely want to try one.

Thanks for the pic's those are some fine looking guitars. I watched the videos and priced the new ones and found a curiosity and would like your opinion I'm interested in this FGN https://reverb.com/item/34051768-fgn-iliad-jil2ashm-off-white-blonde but in researching the T style came across this John Page model https://reverb.com/item/2273581-john-page-classic-the-aj-in-desert-sand now I think that the John Page model is made in the Fuji-Gen Factory the body and headstock are very similar. Whats your opinion on my theory? Btw the Page model IMHO is overpriced.

The FGN Iliad is a fine guitar, I'd prefer it over any Mex made Fender...
just more ergonomic, and a fantastic craftmanship

I have no clue if this John-Page model is made at the FujiGen factory, and Yes, it is overpriced.

I have played Epi electrics from the '40s, '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s, '00s, and '10s; I have yet to find one with stock pick-ups that didn't sound somewhere between pretty darn good and freakin' amazing.

seriously?? I have to disagree. Don't get me wrong they are decent, but definitely not as good as a more expensive Gibson.
