I'm not paying Gibson money for it, but bring it out as an Epiphone, and I'd strongly consider it. I do think an inverted red on black would be cooler though.

Honestly, what were they supposed to do? Trot out a 58 or 76 reissue? BORING.

At least this is something they haven't done before - even if it's a minor change.

Gibson doesn't have the Huevos to do something truly different on the order of say the Annie Clark / St. Vincent sig from Music Man because any time they try something that isn't a by the numbers '59 Lester or (insert 60+ year old design) folks start reaching for their nitro pills.

Grant Gustin? Yeah, he's done well with it. Pity about the rest of the Arrowverse though. LoT was a favorite, and they need to build a show around the Mia Queen character.

Ezra Miller? Replaceable trainwreck. Especially now that they're doing a Flashpoint based movie.
