Up for sale is a 1951 Epiphone Zenith archtop acoustic guitar. This was made in New York City prior to Gibson's acquisition of Epiphone and is a great example of why they were one of Gibson's primary competitors. I bought this in a local shop after playing it and being really taken with the punchy sound that it produces. It shows quite a bit of play wear and may have had a binding repair at some point (see close-up pic). It's also missing the pickguard. Otherwise, it plays nicely and sounds fantastic. Sale includes a non-original hardshell case in excellent condition. Looking for $975 PP/shipped. ConUS only. Not interested in trades, thanks.
