Resident geek checking in a day late, but the mishegoss of the doctor visit, elevated temp, etc., kept me busy. So Star Trek turned 55 yesterday. However, 55 years ago today, a bunch of third graders at Bardstown Elementary School hit the playground all fired up about this new show they saw last night with spaceships and pointy eared aliens and such.

    Love Star Trek !!!!
Not a big fan of the latest movies ( Star Trek 2009 / " Kelvin Time Line " ).

I tolerate them. Beyond was a bit too much, but the alien chick was hot; in fact I found her more attractive in the makeup than in real life. I know, issues! But I’m of the opinion I’d rather have Star Trek to pick at than none at all!

I find not liking aliens to be highly illogical. :D

Oh.... "Space, the final LENS FLARE frontier"?

On the other hand, I've heard good things about "Lower Decks".

I hope " Strange New World " takes Star Trek back to the true vision of Gene Roddenberry.

I think that the " Enterprise " series was really underated and is gaining credibility with fans, long after the series was stopped.

    Voyager was great too.
