I have just taken delivery of a new Epiphone Casini Coupe and I would like to buy a new hard case for it. Problem is I can't find a listing for a hard case for this instrument. There must be a lot of Casino Coupes out there and surely many of you have a hard case for it. Some have said the Wildkat case will fit, some say the case for the 339 will fit also. I'm not sure about the Wildkat case but some have said that the 339 will not fit.

Not sure what to believe, if I order a case online and I will have to as I live in a regional area in Australia, I need to be sure its the correct case.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

And I won't believe that you have taken delivery of a Coupe until I see the photo. :)

My GC got back to me, he has spoken to his Epi supplier and was told the 339 hard case is the correct case for the Casino Coupe. I have ordered one.

Good morning - I only just saw this post, so forgive me if it has been a while, but, yes, the 339 case will fit. I have owned both the coupe and the case for a little over three years.

Ironically, I went through the same curiosity as you did, since it wasn’t made clear anywhere. The coupe was my first new electric in ages, and I loved the look of the Epiphone cases. Being my first of new guitar purchases to come, I wanted to make sure this one stayed pristine.

On the day my case actually arrived, though, I was playing seated, and stood up, ready to put her away in her nice new case when the strap came loose and the guitar head hit the edge of a desk. It survived well, and no issues with playing, but my beauty now has a chip that drove me crazy at first (though it is under the headstock and not visible to others). That is when I went out and got strap stops for this and all future guitars.

Anyway, the Casino Coupe looks gorgeous in the Epi case. A couple of years ago, I changed the strings to flat wound for that Beatle-esque sound. Next string go round, I want to get the original sound back.

I've attached a photo of her in the case, just so you can see. I bought that one at GC in 2016(?) I think.

    Hope that helps!

Thank you for posting, its good to know the 339 cases will fit, I'm fussy with my guitars (I don't gig) and like to put them in their case each night. Early days but I'm loving my new Coupe, I'm' basically an acoustic player and have not played an electric in a very long time. So far I have been playing it acoustically and it sounds nice. I have a Fishman Loudmouth Mini and the Coupe sounds decent plugged into it. I will in time get another amp, a low powered one as I play at home.

Made by Qingdao (electric), China. The finish is drop-dead gorgeous (Sunburst) I find it's very comfortable to hold and play sitting down, I don't play standing up. I will definitely recommend this guitar, but find one and try it yourself to make sure it suits you.

I'm with you there. I played acoustic for most of my life, even though I first learned on an electric(which, thanks to old photos I was able to determine was a Tele). I played mostly for my own enjoyment for my early years, later played in a church group through my 20-30's. At the time, my ancient acoustic and an old Strat-copy electric were all I had, and I was fine with that. Never even considered another guitar. When I hit 50, the bug hit me, and I discovered Epiphone and suddenly have a lot more guitars than I did when I was a kid! Wish I had the Casino back then. It would have been versatile enough for quiet and loud songs we played at mass. Nowadays, I play entirely for my own enjoyment - recording music in to my computer and occasionally sharing it with fam and friends.
I have a Vox amp (the one with the Union Jack on it - I'm an American Beatles fan), but really, most of my playing is in headphones into recordings. I have yet to try it, or any of my new ones, on a loud amp anywhere. Enjoy!

Have a look at Jack Fossett's (spelling?) videos on youtube, you will get a pretty good insight about Epi Casinos and the casino Coupe. Jack does a nice job demonstrating how they sound and more. You and yours stay safe also.

Agreed. And @Jack Fossett is a forum member.

I also play sitting down (mostly). I'm 5'7" (170 cm to some of you) and the full-sized Casino and other semi/hollow bodies are no comfortable. I have a Gretsch Streamliner Centerblock Jr (they really need a more type-able name) and I may get a 339 some day.

Just noticed that my CC and 339 case photo didn't post. Here it is,

A couple of photos of my new case, an Epiphone 339 case. The guitar (George) fits like a bug in a rug :)

My used Casino Coupé came with its Epiphone case. The case was not advertised with the guitar and I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that it came with the purchase of the guitar with no xtra charge. The case alone could have been sold for £70-80. Both guitar and case looked brand new. So, I don't know if the original guitar purchase came with the case or if it was bought separately as a 339 case. Here are some pics.

Good looking guitar. The case probably came separately. I don't know of any Coupe package that included a case. But maybe there was one in the UK.
