He may be doing us a kindness.

Apparently Jim Beam is a family beverage. I have a couple of their Greek decanters from my Grandfather.

YES! Normal grey wet cool Lancashire Summer weather has resumed. :thumb: A high of 17C and rain today, I'll take that any day over that furnace type heat :D

I finally got a good night's sleep last night without that awful oppressive muggy heat.

I felt so much better i had a fry up for brekkie :thumb: Run out of black pudding though :frown:

My stepfather had a vast collection of Beam Decanters, some quite rare. The Beam Distillery once inquired about purchasing the collection. He should have taken the offer, because when his divorce was final, his ex-wife went into the house and took everything that wasn’t nailed down, Beam collection included.

Wet & windy here with a high of 15C, There are weather warnings issued for persistent & heavy rain throughout the day.

Looks like I wont be mowing the lawns today then.

I looked out of curiosity, mine are about $20-$25 each. Knick knack curios worth more in sentiment than sales.

I actually had an argument with someone in a Twitch chat who got all offended that I was drinking my Jim Beam Black with Coca Cola.

"Waste of decent bourbon". Yeah, decent which means I'm going to enjoy my drink and not give a **** what anyone thinks.
It's not a 21 year old single malt, that I'd have some respect for.

What do they expect a guy to do? Mix Kentucky DEELUXE with Chek cola?

    Sköl!

Each to their own but I like my whisky straight.

Minimum of minus 2 this morning and a blistering top of 13C. Nice days though, even hot working out in the sun.

Otto started a branching thread for this over here: http://www.epiphonetalk.com/threads/potent-potables-for-200-alex.4895

This has always been a meandering thread, but if he wants, I'm down.
