I stand corrected...
Great pic John, that reminds me I need more wild bird seed for the feeders & we've run out of those suet/fat balls. We've got enough to keep them going til shopping day.
New weather front coming in from the north west bringing heavy rain & sleet/snow showers. It's chucking it down here at the moment & there are weather warnings out for heavier rain later today 4C top temps today.
I enjoy watching the little birds and we get a lot of them. We also get a yellow Finch once in awhile but he refused to get his picture taken
We ended up with about 4" of snow.
Gonna enjoy a balmy (for January anyway) 62F today before plunging back into the 40s for an extended stay.....booooo!
So 22C today and overcast...thats fine with me! Warm enough overnight to have a ceiling fan going over our bed.
I had considered installing a new electrical outlet on the exterior of the garage towards the front of the house, but I might not today. I could possibly be convinced to get a couple missing odds and ends for the project however.
Still raining heavy with some sleet thrown into the mix for good measure The best temps today are 2C, It's Baltic out there with this cold north easterly wind.
I shall be driving some trains in Train Sim World2 in the warmth if anybody wants me
Do those trains have good
LOL Oh yes, some of the older BR class diesel locos have foot heaters & an hotplate on the dash that glows orangey red when you switch it on for good effect
Well now, 'bout 2:00 AM a fierce north wind heralded the arrival of an expected cold front that set temps plunging to freezing, the wind chill into the low20s, and pinged the power for a few seconds requiring every digital device in the damn place to be reset or rebooted.
Or, in more common terms. It got shitty like real quick.
22C today and a chance of a few mils of rain.
It's one of those 'I wish I'd have stopped in bed' days Hard frost on everything & freezing fog to boot Top temp today is 1C.
Rather uh....."icky" eh?
Here were in the mid to high 40s for a few days but currently is a damn cold 19F. It feels wintry and it looks wintry.
Oh, just peachy. I (we) just found out that we get to replace all of the HVAC ductwork under the house. W00T!
Today is expected to be 20C maximum but I suspect it’s going to struggle to get there. Otherwise strong cold winds, overcast and again a small amount of rain. I’m not complaining but it sure doesn’t feel like summer this year.
The day after the snow storm was absolutely beautiful out and melted all the snow. 52F
You win first prize eh!
It's dark dank & raining here with a high of 7C today.
At 5:00 AM it is a chilly 35F but we're expecting a couple of days in the high 40s (47F-48F) and lots of sunshine.
The afternoon sun always makes it feel a little warmer so it might be a good weekend to thoroughly wash and shine up the old buggy and make her all pretty again.
23C, no wind and no rain thankfully.
Yesterday was so windy trees were almost blown out of the ground!
Oh yeah. This has residual 2020 all over it. Thankfully, it's all the soft hose type stuff so it could've been worse.
