Well, I was gonna wait for a rainy day, but a hot overly sunny one will do as well. Time to build a pedal for Christmas.

57°/14° under clear skies, looking for a high of 70°/21°, so a lovely day, but still kind of cool for mid May.

Currently 6C and heading for 15C.

It's actually one of the coldest days of the year so far. Wood heater alight before lunch and settling in.

Almost daybreak here. It's a cool 44F but headed for another daytime high around 70F so we may finally have broken winters grip. Twas a little late coming this year but received gladly nonetheless.

Nearly 6:00 AM with a temp of 47F under cloudy skies. Gonna hit a high in the mid 60Fs but I strongly suspect we'll see rain and T-storms later this afternoon and evening.

I could go for a little thunder and lightning as long as it doesn't take out those two transformers about 200 feet away in the corner of the dog run. Happens about once a year.

Blimey! You don't half get some big extremes of weather over your end of the pond  :thumb: Mostly continuous cloudy wet weather here with a couple of weeks of sunshine.
I was emailing with a mate who lives on the south coast (Dorset) & he was complaining about the price of housing down there, Average house price is three times higher than up here. I said sell up & you could buy a mansion up here with the money you'd get for selling yours, The first thing he said aah! but the weathers crap up there

Mixed day of grey clouds, sunshine & rain is forecast after lunchtime. A high of 15C so no sweater on today. :dude:

Denver and the Colorado Front Range and Mountains can get some really wild weather whipsaws as I've oft reported.

It could be 70F-80F one day and in the 20Fs and snowing by the next. A 30F degree difference between daytime highs and night time lows is pretty much the usual all year long.

A a mile above sea level and more temps can drop rather fast once the sun goes down and it always makes for cool nights and easy sleep when there's little humidity to speak of.

Today is another cloudy spring day with a 50% chance of some wet stuff later this AM or PM. It's 54F now at 8:00 AM but won't get much above 60F for a day time high.

Not a bad day overall and May is normally our wettest month as far as rainfall. It helps green things up very quickly and if we're lucky they'll stay that way through June and July.

Without the late snows and rains in May everything would be a scorched brown by the end of June including the mountains and that means major danger of massive forest fires.

Even with the late snows and early rains there's so many dead trees and dead fall in some areas it's almost assured a lightning strike will start fires somewhere this summer.
