I was watching this weather system on the BBC yesterday, What a tragedy there Peter, They're saying at least 80 dead this morning, poor buggers. The worlds weather is out of balance.

Precisely. Somewhere people are drowning in floods while the American West is in a long term drought that may turn it into a 21st century "Dust Bowl".

True to form we got another line of T-Storm passing through last evening. Quite a light show too as lightning lit up the sky for an hour or more and thunder rumbled like we were in the lower level of a bowling alley. I actually enjoyed the cooling.

It's 62F at 4:00 AM with RH of 61% headed for a sunny day with a high of around 90F with the possibility of more T-Storms on tap later in the evening. Pretty normal Rocky Mountain summertime weather cycle for the month of July.

5:15 AM in the morning twilight. It's very quiet and peaceful here right now and perfect for getting some work done online. Being a Saturday it won't stay that way for long though.

Lookin' out my window to the East I can see that little salmon shaded band of sky we get just before sunrise which should happen in a half hour or so. Sunset is around 8:30 PM so the days are growing shorter now.

It's a cool 62F under clear skies with an RH of 67%. That will drop significantly once the sun rises and the temps head toward the 90Fs again. We should hit 92F again today or very near it. Only a 15% chance of any evening rainfall.

It's 5:15 AM about half an hour before sunrise on another beautiful clear morning.

Current temp is 61F degrees with RH at 71%. We're headed for another high of around 90F with a slight chance of some late afternoon or early evening T-Storms.

Pretty typical day for this time of year.

I'm really looking forward to my trip up to Northeastern MN next month, hopefully they will have gotten some proper rain by then.

Rolling up on 4:30 AM and it's a very balmy 75F with RH of 40%. Pretty warm for this early in the day but then we're headed for a scorching 97F under sunny skies.
