I'm playing Powerball numbers I found in Dad's wallet after his passing. Seemed as good as any.

It would be nice to win. I think SWMBO and I could handle it with the right set of fiduciary professionals. I wouldn't want to be like some of these people: going bankrupt in short order after doing the things on my "won't do list".

    This guy?

Edit: Oh for the luvva! It's a clip from Spitting Image, a couple rubber puppets in a comedy bit. It's a "past watershed" show, but this clip is probably safe for work.

It's very early (3:22 AM) and after posting this and having completed a catch up on all of my other "need to get it done" stuff I do believe I'll nap. Later on I'll ride on up to Ft Collins for a cookout with my daughter, son-in-law, and grand daughters....oh and the grand dogs too. Can't overlook them.

It's a brisk 50F now with 73% RH but later one we'll hit 90F again so another 40F degree swing from low to high. Tomorrow looks like it will mark the end of our 90F degree days. It will be much cooler this coming week. High 60Fs to low 80Fs.

And with that.....I feel a nap coming on. zzzzzzzz

Just past 3:00 AM and it's much warmer this morning than yesterday. It's 64F with 38% RH. If current cloud cover lasts throughout the day we may end up a bit below 90F but still in very high 80Fs.

No rain in the forecast for today but a cold front is due to move in tonight so we may see some t-storms or rain after dark. Tomorrow and Tuesday the highs will be at least 20F degrees cooler maxing out in the high 60Fs.

    Fall is peeking in.

Fairly chilly start today at 54f, by Southern California standards anyway. Should be a great day as we will top out at 81f.

I just got a warm feeling though. My wife caught me watching videos of the Casino worn. I expected her usual "you're not buying that!" response. Instead, I heard "thats really nice, you should buy one".

I was so shocked that I failed my plan to buy one (I was going to tell her after I order) and said I can't decide between black and olive. She looked at both and said olive. I better order before she comes to her senses. :D

Probably because it's a British show and they want you to watch on the Television... Got a VPN?
I don't hide what I order either, I just order and explain when mod / personalization parts start showing up. I don't make any effort to hide a purchase, I just don't always announce it. Of course, now I've been stuck in a Fadd9ing hole since Squier hasn't delivered my Jag to Sweetwater over 9 months after announcing it and taking pre-orders. There's always something else on the list, but I won't bite again until I've had a chance to swallow this one.

Any day I can listen to a Vikings game on the radio* (even extremely out of market as I am) it's a good day.

Be nice if I could watch it, but the NFL Package is a bit on the excessive side.

*internet radio app on my phone through a Bluetooth speaker.

This is what I am a bit afraid of. With my 59 I didn't want to wait several months on SW. My local shop was a 3 month wait, GC had it in stock so a deal with the devil was made. Now that I want a Casino, I'm gonna call SW tomorrow for an estimate on time. I'll call my local shop as well (mom and pop outfit, they inspect and set up guitars before putting them on their inventory). Whoever can get it sooner may win the sale. GC has it in stock, but with as many stories I've read about rattles and buzzes on Casino, I would prefer to avoid GC this time.

And not to leave topic, its 68f and getting cooler. Mild humidity but a very welcome breeze coming through my windows.

Decidedly cooler this AM. Just before 6:00 AM it's a brisk 51F w/56% RH. We could see some rain today and it's definitely colder with most of the day staying in the 60Fs. So were roughly 25F-30F cooler than just a few days ago.

I'm not worried about what I get on the back end of this - because they'll make it right. That 55 point inspection is worth waiting on, plus I'm having them set it up for D'Addario balanced tension tens, so anything screwy will be caught and corrected before I even get it.

As far as Sweetwater's delays, there's only a small handful of what appear to be early sample models of that Jag floating around*. Beyond those, everyone I've looked at is either "pre-order" or some form of backordered so it ain't just a Sweetwater problem.

    * A few small-time YouTubers seem to have gotten early models (Squier by Fende) as well as a smattering of shops with channels including Anderton's.

I think we are experiencing more winter than we did in winter, though early spring can sometimes be like that here.
Just 13C today, some rain and windy.....again!

We have stuff to do in town so maybe thats the best option today?

I called SW today and talked to my designated sales guy. I told him I'm sure people call you asking for discounts. I don't want that, all I want is a casino with no rattles or buzzing please, and ship it in a hard case. I want them to do the setup as well so they can spot any problems that might slip by the 55 point. I could buy it tomorrow at GC, but GC doesn't care if it rattles. Send me a good one and you'll have a life customer, if it takes 6 months thats okay. He did give me a minor break on the price in since I'm getting the guitar, case, and setup. I appreciate that. Now I have to be patient. We really need an aimless chat thread here.

Its 79f today, a terrible time to spend a day working.

That's kind of what How's Your Weather and Where's Lanc..? are a good chunk of the time. More so Where's Lanc, but we meander on and off topic.

My rep didn't cut me much of a package deal, but that's on me for not asking. He has committed to making sure I get plenty of candy this go 'round and a shirt though so....
