22C today and a lovely bright morning.
I'm spoiled in that I always have quite a view of the Continental Divide when I drive north towards Ft. Collins where my daughter lives. Here in Englewood our view is primarily of Mount Evans which is a "Fourteener" but separate from the peaks of "The Divide" just as Pike Peak is. It's about 30 miles distant.
It's sunny with a high of 82F right now and more of the same expected tomorrow and over the weekend. Unusually warm for this time of the year but I'll take it.
80s and smoke from the Cali fire has cleared a little bit.
Another drizzly grey day with a high of 18C here.
Good mornin' Epi World!
At 6:15 AM it's a cool 52F with 43% RH. Still fairly peaceful and still. Sun up isn't for another half hour or so. Might be a little cooler today with a high around 77F.
22C yesterday but back to 13C for Grand Final Day (AFL). However the game isn’t being played in Melbourne but rather Perth, on the west side of the country where the pandemic hasn’t yet taken hold. Because they are 2 hours behind us in time, it won't come on here until about 7PM and I am hoping the new TV will make it even more enjoyable.
Enjoy the game on the new TV mate, We have 3D weather here! Dark Dank & Drizzling. Still warm though with a high of 20C.
We've again reached that time of the year with major temperature extremes.
Just before 5:30 AM it's a chilly 45F w/73% RH yet today's high should hit 85F making for a 40F degree swing. In the fall our daytime temps are pretty much controlled by the sun and weather fronts from the north or the northwest.
If it's a sunny day with west or southwest winds we can easily hit the 80Fs. But if it clouds over or if we get some rain and north winds we just as quickly drop in to the 60Fs and once the sun goes down it cools into the 40sF very quickly.
Snow in the high country has already begun and we're probably about a month away of less from out first snowfall here. Soon we'll see even more extremes on a day to day basis with overnight freezes but daytime highs in the 70Fs.
Glorious! Peaked at 83°/28°, no humidity to speak of, and a delightful morning to sit at the market and sell a few baubles.
Just 14C here today and at 7AM it’s just 3C. It has been a cool wet season but things should pick up in October.
I’m eeking out the split wood hoping to see it last another couple of weeks. I may have to bite the bullet and at least do a day of splitting to get through.
The cows are waiting for me to let them into the front paddock.
We have sky today a brighter sunnier day with a high of 19C.
5:45 AM and it's 53F w/46% RH under clear skies. It's gonna hit the high 80Fs today so summer is still hanging on a bit longer.
17C and currently 2C but with 99% humidity(??)
It's been chucking it down for most of the night with lots of standing water, The lawns/gardens are sodden, More heavy rain forecast throughout the day so apart from taking our two cats to the vets for their inoculation jabs later today I shall be driving some trains A high of 15C today.
Lancashire = God's own shower stall.
6:45 AM and it's 53F w/38% RH. Gonna hit the high 80Fs today under sunny skies.
20C is the expected top here today and it’s a gorgeous morning. It was lovely cutting the grass yesterday in similar conditions. 99% humidity again.
Woo Hoo! Back into shorts today excepting the odd cold day I should be in them right through ‘till May next year, some 8 months.
It's a proper miserable dark rainy day here with a high of 13C, Heavy rain is forecast for the entire day. It looks like I'll be using the wet vac machine later today with the amount of rain that's coming down.
Just last 6:00 AM. Sunrise is another 45 minutes away. It's 63F w/42% RH under cloudy skies which is why it's much warmer this morning than yesterday morning. But we pay the price later on with a high of only 78F which is also about 10F degrees less than yesterday. No rain today but tomorrow we may see some.
