I'm with you. My older daughters love gift cards to their favorite restaurant and my grandson whose a college frosh has become addicted to chicken fingers from Raising Cane so Gramps will "feed" his addiction. Hey....I was that young once too. Not as many fast food choices though.
Up here everyone is close so I can either use gift cards, Amazon, or simply buy whatever clothes she knows my granddaughters need and mark those from Grandpa and I will reimburse her for shopping them.
Daughter #4 is still not accepting me as a part of her life but she gets a gift card anyway which she never refuses. I guess her apathy and detachment has it's limits.
