Sounds.... um... painful. Our fine calm weather has continued so yesterday I managed to get 2 coats of deck (I'm a Kiwi so read "dick") stain on our deck that I had water-blasted (that's gurneyed Digger) the day before.
Anything above say 70°F is wasted on me, you're more than welcome to it.Raiyn needs to share some of the heat. We'll drag along like today for another couple day before heading back to single digits and below zero stuff again by Sunday and early next week. Would love a couple of 50F degree days to break the monotony.

Right now it's nice:

Take the sled out to the lake, deploy the pop up shelter, set a couple tip ups and see what happens.
I'd have been happy to send the excess 11° from yesterday. Of course that'd only get you 42...OK, box 70F and send it to me. It's 31F now and by Saturday we're looking at more snow and overnight lows below zero again through Monday night. I need a little sun and some warmth.
I have Transitions™ lenses, but the eye doctor really wants me to wear polarized sunglasses when I’m outside. As time has gone on, I can see his point.I'd have been happy to send the excess 11° from yesterday. Of course that'd only get you 42...
I always found the lower angle of the sun easier to deal with than the more direct rays we get here. The ol' retinas take a beating even with a wide brim hat and Transitions ™ lenses.
Depends on the location on the planet I'm guessingI'd have been happy to send the excess 11° from yesterday. Of course that'd only get you 42...

Well, apparently now we can have both.I have Transitions™ lenses, but the eye doctor really wants me to wear polarized sunglasses when I’m outside. As time has gone on, I can see his point.
Ooh, I did not know that. The older doctor in the practice, now retired, wanted me to wear the wraparound NASCAR driver shades for full solar protection, but without spending a fortune on them, I look like, well, a NASCAR fan. The frames the bird sits on over to the left are my third pair of this style, and I’d like to keep them.Well, apparently now we can have both.
