Anyone who has both can clarify here.
I don't trust the specifications given on a site unknown to me.
Specifications of the official website Epi gives in different ways.

50's Standard is almost like a '59 with Probuckers and no case and a few different colors .

I agree. They're close enough that I would say they were machined the same way. People may claim it feels different etc... it does - because the poly finish is yay thick and that contributes to it. Sticky vs. satin also means people feel things differently and even though the thickness might be the same, the amount of friction isn't the same and that may fool some players' brains to thinking one's thicker than the other etc...
Left is a 50s gold top, right is the '59. Didn't take them apart to check the tenon (frankly I don't really think that makes much difference other than for historic purposes - even the CEO agrees on this).

Yep. Overall it's a more premium construction, but my guess is once they glue up the body blanks they just run them through the same CNC program.
Do the 50’s and 59’s have one piece necks? I know my Lazarus is one solid piece, not the heel and headstock pieces added.
