Neither the Les Paul Muse range or the SG Muse range have locking tuners, what you do get are not very good and i would recommend upgrading. I have owned both and speak from experience. FYI the Epiphone Les Paul Modern does have locking tuners, albeit for a few hundred $ more and probably where the confusion lies.

Since you quoted Davis' post about the Hipshots I'm going to presume you're asking about them.

Just go to eBay, Reverb, Amazon or whomever and search for Hipshot locking tuners, pick your preferred (3+3) style and proceed from there. Or check the links in the below...

    $50 for open gear locking:

    $55 for enclosed locking

I have the IBG Transfade SG and it has the locking Grover tuners.
I am blown away by how well they work.

The tuners sure do make stringing a guitar easy. And I can pull the guitar out of the case and it is generally still right in tune.

    Pretty cool. :)

I usually thread mine in at 12 o’clock and then turn the peg to about 10 or 11 o’clock before I lock them in.

Depending on the gauge that usually leaves them at about 8 o’clock once they are tuned.

So no overlap creating a wrap but enough string on the post to guarantee a solid fit.

I am still learning. This is new technology for me. I am sure I will get better at it as time goes by.

I do remember having the whole hog Floyd Rose setup on a B.C. Rich Eagle that I owned in the late 80’s. It had the locking nut and the micro tuners at the back.

Each one had a totally unique pattern on the face of the guitar. All one off’s. Mine looked kinda like EVH’s famous guitar but was in an aquamarine color with geometry shapes along with the tape lines.

Kinda wish I still had that guitar. It had a totally unfinished neck. Maple I think or maybe a softer wood.

    Memories…

Wha? It's a locking tuner. It doesn't get more solid than locked.

The extra couple millimeters of string aren't doing anything helpful. Also, if you turn the peg unlocked you have more of an opportunity to slip your string pre-tension.
