I’ve some smaller combos that I like (Vox ac4, Supro Delta King, Marshall Origin 20, Boss Katana 50) and I like them all but nothing really gives me that blackface clean, nor do any of my heads.

I’ve been considering the Tone Masters (maybe super reverb 4x10, which is overkill for at home studio, I concede) or maybe a 10” 65 Princeton? I love dual reverbs but I’d never get the volume up to 2.
    Any thoughts?

You could go with the 60 Cycle Hum "Two Princes" rig.

To me the ultimate Fender shimmer is the Princeton reverb. I have a 65 PRRI and it's the best sounding Fender amp that I have owned. Everything about it is perfect. Merry Christmas everybody. :)

I also vote Princeton! First tube amp I played (rented from Long & Mcquade back in my high school days) and first tube amp I bought - it’s over 25 years old now and haven’t had any issues with it and it still does that sound. Started with the solid state Princeton in highschool then upgraded as I was able to save up enough.
