Sure but pics of dead animals might offend some I imagine Ian!

No shortage of live ones unfortunately and they seem to be migrating in from other properties to fill the vacuum I am working so hard to create! There were 12 or 13 visible out various windows the other morning!

I’m going to be running out of compressed air to fill my gun soon and that means I have to have the SCUBA tank tested before it can be filled again.

Imagine my frustration while that is away for testing??

It was left here by a visitor... To be honest, I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it, but there was no point drinking anything better with the wine crippling blend of cool Pineapple & Cayenne Pepper we had alongside that Salmon :dunno:

I did say "not too bad", I didn't say "bloody awesome!" ;)

Besides, SWMBO is the squished grape drinker around here, I prefer my spirits aged in new charred oak barrels for 6-8 years.

Don't get me wrong... Those 'Roo Bubbles' went really well with that particular meal on that particular day... It's 'horses for courses' really... or should that be 'roos for routes' :thumb:

Our happy hour with friends was almost riotous last night!

Hard to imagine 6 people could make so much noise!

I deviated slightly when I discovered that the local sold Heineken beer which was lovely but I’m unused to full strength beer considering my usual is lolly water sold with the mixers! As such I might have contributed to the noise somewhat more than usual.

Some of the discussions were fairly “robust” but fortunately good friends can hold strong differences without it getting personal. Mutual respect is a strong tie.

So a good time saw the meal getting a little more shambolic than usual, but we got fed.

Hoping the wind will let me get out in the boat this morning and I’m waiting for it to get light so I can get moving.

Unfortunately that's becoming far less common.

I've been saying it for years now, what happened to the middle? To compromise for the greater good?

My mate Bill and I are about as opposite as you can get and we do have some vigorous conversations, but I listen even if I don’t agree, as sometimes I learn from what the other persons point of view is.

On the other hand, it depends on who you're talking to. There are some who's world view is so twisted up by bigotry and ignorance (same thing) that they can't have rational conversations.

Speaking of wildlife, there were a few Kangas sitting on people’s lawns just out of town last night and we had a male Lyrebird running through the bush behind our site. Worth looking them up as they are an interesting bird.
