Sad news today. Growing up in Texas, ZZ top has been an integral part of my life. Sad to see a member of this fantastic trio gone.:frown:

What a shock.....and just 72 years old. Can't get over how many '70s musicians we've lost. The Rock 'n Roll Heaven Band is growing by leaps and bounds.

I think the band was prepared for this. The replacement was a crew member and the band seemed rehearsed in their first show with the new line-up.

Mr. Hill played a farewell show and then went home. There's a kind of grandeur in that.

Well, to hear Billy Gibbons tell the tale, it sounds like Dusty knew he was at the end of his trail and he hand picked "Mr. Elwood" because the show must go on.

There's plenty of articles about this out there, no need for me to link or copypasta at this point.
