I am almost tempted to leave the scars apparent, at least on the back side.

That'd be kinda a cool aesthetic since you've already gotten it all flat and smooth. It'd almost be like those pre-reliced finishes (except yours would be an actual repair and look genuine... like not have that weird new guitar sheen on top).

I even rediscovered the famous Limited Edition Custom Shop stamp that had been buried under the last repair job.

If I ever want to sell it, I'll then do a nice paint job.
