So I ordered this beauty yesterday! I was gonna post to another forum also but like coming here because I don’t have to hear people tell me it’s not a Gibson so it’s no good. Can’t wait to plug her in. I have a 50s Les Paul with the Probuckers 1 and 2 but this will be my first with the 2 and 3 set. To those that have them or this guitar in particular how do you like it with those pickups? I‘m not big on the SGs with the veneers but I really wanted one with the Maestro. Now I want the 61 Les Paul SG and the Tony Iommi SG Special

It's not a Gibson ! Looks Good ! HNGD ! 2/3 combo is just a slighty overwound bridge . Which will equate to a bit more brightness over the 1/2 combo .

Nice find! The 2/3 set sound really good and pretty much exactly as syco described. You'll also get slightly different sounds from the neck given it's location is different for a SG.

I like 'em. Yours has a cool pinstripe vibe.

Makes mine look a bit plain in comparison.

So I got the guitar today and after letting it sit in the box most of the day I opened up the box and took her out. It looks a lot better in person than in the pictures. The playability is amazing as the action is super low with no buzzing and the pickups sound great. This might become my favorite guitar for now. It’s been awhile since I’ve played an SG and getting to the upper frets is so much easier than on a Les Paul. I can’t get over how good this thing plays and sounds. I thought I might have tuning issues with the Maestro as I’ve never had one but the tuning is rock solid. I am super happy with this guitar.
