ive already had it for like 6 months. i dont think its a useless pedal but its not something youd want with a good amp. i could see it being more as a tone correction thing. Making low end amps and pickups sound more dynamic.

it adds more brilliance but its easy to over do it. i pretty much start both knobs at noon which is usually close to unity with my amp, then just add a little of whatever this mystery box does, and it sounds pretty cool. it was only 50 bucks and its a classic, so i just snagged it up.
I used my BBE Sonic Maximizers on my VHT Pitbull, Carvin X-100 B , Marshall JCM 800, Mesa Boogie Mark 5 and others.
And it improved those high end amps even more .

A band that opened for us numerous times, are now using BBE's in their rigs now.
One guy , has a Cortex and a Kemper and he added it to his rig and it improved his sound .
If you think this device sounds good in Mono, its even more mind blowing with it running in stereo with the delay and reverb staggered differently in the stereo field.
The way I set my pedalboard up with my Digitech 2112's morphing abilities to have seemless transitions, songs like; Can't Kill Rock n Roll, Into The Fire, One, Da Doo Doo Da Da, Judgement Day, Distant Early Warning, House Burning Down and Cemetery Gates, the cleans, acoustic simulator and Sitar simulator just melt and fade beautify into one another like a studio edit .

Right now, is a great time to get one.
The kid in the other band got one, a BBE 422 rack unit for $ 35.00 USD .
