I don't know whether to marvel at the chutzpah, or pity the guy for being the dumbest man on the planet.

He's not "wrong", but come on.

Next he'll sue because Dino Nuggies (generic term) don't contain the meat of creatures that have been extinct for 65 million years, or Hooters for not having owls on staff.

Just to put this out there, I'm not a "B-Dubs" / brosteraunt guy. I like my air fryer wings on the rare occasion we snag some, but if SWMBO went out and bought some nuggets (chicken, "Dino", or otherwise) I'd slap some Frank's on them and ask if we had celery. Or break out some BBQ sauce.

Suing Buffalo Wild Wings for "wings" that are really breast meat does bring attention to something that is basically fraud. The dumb thing to do is to sue them because their "wings" didn't come from buffalos. Personally, I feel the place ought to be sued on general principle. To think....... they have the unmitigated GALL to charge money for that crap.

It's dumb to call them boneless wings and it's dumber to sue about it. What's next, vegan bacon?
I didn't want to believe it was a thing...

In a country of 330 million people, we will get frivolous lawsuits. But we also get lawsuits on unsafe products, environmental hazard, and fraud.
True, but if there's a description on the menu that mentions the breast meat this isn't a case, if there wasn't, well that might be something. I'm not defending the guy, but knowing what's in something is helpful from an allergen and dietary standpoint.

Not that meat from a different section of a chicken should* be a concern from an allergy standpoint, but if you're eating, let's say kosher, (doesn't apply here, I looked) what end of the animal the meat comes from makes a difference.

*It's not probable, but not impossible.

Desperate times I guess...
Judge returned the complaint on procedural grounds. Let's see what they come up with in the next couple of weeks

Besides, the damage/relief sought and the fact that they're trying to make it a class action is pretty insane. Of course .... maybe over the next 10 days or so, there might be some cult or religion that claims to have been defiled because of consuming said breast meat... I dunno... I do wonder what Treehouse is charging for this one though :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm: Maybe they're hoping for a miracle settlement like what happened in Subway.

Alright I'm feeling American. I've never had any good luck and my favorite cereal as a child was Lucky Charms. It brought me no luck. I'm calling an attorney in the morning. Who's with me? We can probably get enough to pay for Korina guitars.

Hey, in Chicago people we are very literal. If a pizza says it's made with Italian Saaaaaaage when you take a bite it better yell out Mama Mia at ya', OK? 🇮🇹

Wings are wings. If we'd wanted breast meat we'd a gone ta Colonel Sanders OK? People have ended up wearin' concrete boots and swimmin' in da Chicago River for misrepresentin' stuff like that.

Buffalo Wild Wings responded on tik tok (fools paradise ) in a smart ass way. Claiming there's also no ham in their hamburgers and their wings are 0% buffalo. One reader suggested they should have called them "tenders" or "poppers" like so many other(and more honest) restaurants do. You know.... The ones that AREN'T being sued. ;)

But this suit isn't anywhere NEAR as dumb as the one where the old lady sued McDonald's because the coffee she ordered from the drive thru burned her leg when she spilled some on her! Claims the company didn't warn her the coffee was hot!! Well, they never warned me the water I asked for might be WET! Call my lawyer!!! :D

That's exactly the reason I don't order Buffalo Chicken Nuggets, Tenders are better odds of at least getting a thigh or breast. Just too much risk that the chicken isn't even chicken breast with nuggets.

Whenever we would go to a wing place for lunch, I would tell co-workers the reason why I get the actual drummies & flats is because the nuggets are probably made from ground up beaks, lips, feet & necks, even the chicken's @zz. Then I would tell them that the drummies & flat's still had the bones & cartilage in them, they couldn't fake that orgasm if they tried in their laboratory of processed, crappy food.

Yes. IIRC, that McDonalds kept their coffee at a higher temp than recommended.
Yeah Liebeck. But she suffered actual damages there - and it wasn't a class action. Eventually others tried bringing cases against other chains like Starbucks and your usual suspects. I remember some people ended up suing Starbucks for the lids popping off leading to coffee spilling on them/burning them. But the difference was that these were still individual cases - and people actually got hurt.
