I've already checked the wiki, but it only says that the WF serials were made in China.

I was wondering if anyone else has any information on WF serial numbers. I have an SG Jr. with the number on the neck plate WF02050654. I'm guessing made in 2002? I've had it for about a year but for some reason I'm curious about that enigmatic serial number! Any more info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think we'll ever fond out about the older Chinese serials. We'll have to chalk it up to generic Chinese OEM unless there is any other non Epiphone info from that plant.

After doing a little poking around, my guess would be one of the Wiefang factories. There are 4 now, but maybe less back then. Their website shows Gibson and Fender clones. They even have a Junior called a G-400.

Hi. Picking up an old thread. I just bought a g-310 from a pawnshop. Badly mistreated and repainted. Serial number on neck plate which also has strap button. Serial number is WF01080019. I have it apart now and working on rebuild. No other numbers anywhere.

I know WF serials are from an unindentified China factory. WR must be the same.

Doesn't look that bad. Enjoy it.
